Unlimited Wealth

Luke 2:23, 24

How rich is God? He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Ps. 50:10–11) and the wealth in every mine. He created everything; He owns it all. And yet, this God of unlimited wealth who lived in the unrestricted space of heaven came to be born as one of us. He was born among the poorest of the poor—into an impoverished family, in a stable, laid in a manger; He was born in a way that could make outsiders think he was an illegitimate child. The Bible says that although the Lord Jesus Christ "was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich" (2 Cor. 8:9).
