Rain

Zechariah 10:1

Rain is often a symbol of God's blessings, particularly in the OT era. In the agricultural cycles of Palestine, the latter rain refers to the renewal of sustained rains each spring. Latter rain is also a term with eschatological significance, referring to the pouring out of divine blessing in the coming millennial age (Joel 2:23–28). Former rains were those of the autumn, following harvest time.
