Job 12:16-25

We get a glimpse of God's sovereignty by the verbs in this passage. How is God in control?

He leads counselors.

He makes fools.

He loosens bonds.

He binds the waist.

He leads princes.

He overthrows the mighty.

He deprives the trusted.

He takes away the discernment of the elders.

He pours contempt on princes.

He disarms the mighty.

Action verb, after action verb, after action verb. How is God in control? He makes everything happen. There is nothing that occurs apart from His sovereign purpose.
