Eleven Post Resurrection Appearances

Acts 1:3

The resurrection of Christ is at the core of the Christian faith. Jesus appeared eleven different times between His resurrection and His ascension, beginning with his appearance to Mary Magdalene. His last appearance was to the disciples on the Mount of Olives between Jerusalem and Bethany.

Many leaders have died for what they believe. But Jesus Christ died and overcame death—and He is living still today. That reality drove men and women to incredible accomplishments through the power of the Holy Spirit at the beginning of the early church. They had convincing proof that Jesus Christ was alive, and they went everywhere telling the story. The Bible says they turned their world upside down (Acts 17:6)!
